Overview
Quick Elements gives you one place to launch and run your website. The control panel manages the website itself, its domains, who can work on it, and the AI allowance used by the Page Builder.
Your site runs on WordPress, but day-to-day editing happens through a focused workspace. Open Websites to manage the site, then choose Edit to work on its pages, layouts, components, media, forms, and analytics.
The short version
Create a website, connect its primary domain, and provision it. Once its status changes to active, choose Edit and start shaping the site.
Launch checklist
A new website moves through four simple steps:
- Create the website. Give it an internal name and choose a template or a blank starting point.
- Attach a primary domain. Register an included domain if your plan is eligible, or add one you already own.
- Finish the domain setup. Existing domains need an ownership record and the connection records shown in the control panel.
- Provision the site. Quick Elements installs and configures the site. When it is active, open the editor and make it yours.

Create a website
Open Websites, choose New website, and enter a name. The name is a friendly label for your control panel; visitors do not see it.
The slug is used in internal addresses. Leave it empty and Quick Elements creates one from the name, or enter your own using letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores.
Templates
Templates are complete starting points with ready-made pages, reusable components, a shared layout, and site-wide styling. Pick the closest match for your business and change anything after launch, or choose the blank option to start from scratch.
You can change the selected template before the first provision. Changing it after the site is live rebuilds the website from that template, so the control panel asks you to confirm first and archives the current database before the rebuild begins.
Before switching a live template
A template change is a site reset, not a visual preview. Finish small design changes in the Page Builder instead.
Provision & publish
Provisioning builds the WordPress installation, applies your chosen template, creates the site login, and connects the primary domain. A website needs a primary domain before the Provision site button becomes available.
Provisioning runs in the background. You can leave the page and return later. When the status changes from provisioning to active, the site and its Edit button are ready.
If a setup attempt fails, the website shows a plain-language error and a Retry provisioning action. Re-provisioning an active site rebuilds it from scratch; use it only when you intend to replace the live installation.
Edit your site
Open the website and choose Edit. Quick Elements signs you in and opens the site workspace without making you handle a separate login each time.
The left side of the workspace moves between Pages, Layouts, Components, Media, Forms, Form entries, and Analytics. The exact sections can vary by site and by your role. Use the website switcher at the top when you work on more than one site.

Website status
- Pending means the website record is ready, but the site has not been built yet.
- Provisioning means setup or a rebuild is running.
- Active means the site is live and can be edited.
- Failed means setup stopped and needs to be retried or reviewed.
- Suspended means the live site has been paused.
The Dashboard collects failed setup and monitoring problems under Needs attention, so you do not have to check every website separately.
Domains
Add or register a domain
Open Domains and choose Add domain. There are two paths:
- I already own one adds a domain registered with another provider. You keep it at that provider and update its DNS records there.
- Register a new one checks availability and uses the included yearly registration when your plan and chosen ending are eligible.
You can attach the domain to a website immediately or leave it unattached until later. A domain can only be primary when it belongs to a website.
Verify ownership
A domain you already own starts as pending. Its detail page gives you a unique TXT record. Add that record at your domain provider, wait for the change to spread, then choose Check verification.
Verification proves that the domain is yours; it does not send visitors to the site. That is the separate DNS connection step below. Domains registered through Quick Elements are verified automatically.
Connect DNS
The domain detail page shows the exact records and connection target for your account. Add all of the displayed records at your provider so the root domain, the www address, and other subdomains route correctly.
Quick Elements includes step-by-step instructions for Cloudflare, Namecheap, and GoDaddy beside the records. If Cloudflare manages the domain, leave its proxy switched off while connecting it. Some providers call a root-domain CNAME an ALIAS or ANAME.
DNS changes often appear within minutes but can take up to an hour. Copy the values from your domain page rather than from an example, because the page is the source of truth for your connection target.
Primary domains
The primary domain is the main public address for a website and the address used during provisioning. Each website can have one primary domain and any number of additional attached domains.
Open a domain and choose Edit to move it to another website or make it primary. Making one domain primary automatically removes that label from the website's previous primary domain.
People & access
Collaborators
Collaborators work through the Quick Elements control panel. On a website's Manage page, the owner can share access with an existing Quick Elements user by entering the email address on that account.
Sharing is per website. Someone can edit one site, view another, and have no access to the rest of your account. Only the owner can add or remove collaborators, provision the site, or delete its record.
Site logins
Site logins are WordPress accounts for people who help manage content on one live website. They are separate from Quick Elements collaborators.
From the website's Manage page, create a login with an editor, author, or contributor role. You can also link a non-administrator account that already exists on that WordPress site. Linked accounts keep their existing password; removing the link only removes it from Quick Elements.
When a login created by Quick Elements is removed, its content is reassigned to the website's main account so published work is not deleted with the user.
Roles explained
- A website owner controls sharing, provisioning, and the website record.
- A Quick Elements editor can change the website and work in its editing tools.
- A Quick Elements viewer can see the website's control-panel information but cannot change it.
- A site editor manages content across that WordPress site; an author publishes their own posts; a contributor writes drafts for review.
Which kind of access?
Use a collaborator when someone needs the Quick Elements dashboard. Use a site login when they only need to work with content inside one website.
Account
AI token usage
The Page Builder's AI assistant uses your account's weekly token allowance. The Dashboard shows the current total, and AI tokens breaks usage down by website and shows when the weekly window resets.
Usage on a shared website is billed to that website's owner. Collaborators can work on the site without moving its AI usage to their own account.
Profile & security
Open Profile settings from the account menu to change your name, sign-in email, or password.
Turn on two-factor verification to require an emailed code when a sign-in comes from a new location. Verified locations are remembered for a limited time, and you can forget all of them at once if a device is lost or you want every location checked again.
Inbox & Cloud
Inbox opens your mail workspace, while Cloud opens your file and shared-storage workspace. Both live inside the signed-in Quick Elements experience, so you can move between your sites, mail, and files from the same header.
Help
Troubleshooting
- The Provision button is unavailable: attach a domain to the website and mark it as primary.
- Ownership verification cannot find the record: compare the TXT name and value character for character, then wait a little longer for DNS to update.
- The domain is verified but the site does not open: verification and connection are separate. Check every record under “Point your domain here.”
- The Edit button is missing: the website must be active, have a primary domain, and have finished creating its site login.
- A teammate cannot be added: collaborators must already have a Quick Elements account with the exact email address you enter.
